About the role: Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Coordinator to join our Intensive Family Support and Family Care Support Service Unit.
Reporting to the Manager of Pilbara & Northern Territory Services, you will oversee service delivery to families, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements to the Department of Communities.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the delivery of services to vulnerable families, ensuring high-quality and culturally appropriate support.
Liaise with stakeholders, including the Dept.
of Communities, to facilitate service coordination and collaboration.
Develop and implement therapeutically oriented and safe service programs in partnership with the Manager of Pilbara & NT Services and other Mackillop staff.
Monitor and report on service delivery outcomes to ensure alignment with organizational and departmental standards.
Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance service effectiveness.
Participate in regular meetings and training to stay informed about best practices and developments in the field.
This is a Permanent Full Time opportunity based in Karratha, WA within our Intensive Family Support Service (IFSS), Family Care Support Services (FCSS) & Out of Home Care Program (OOHC).
The position reports to the Manager, Pilbara & NT.
Key Selection Criteria: To be successful in this role, you will have: Establish and maintain positive relationships with the key stakeholders and partner agencies relevant to the Services to ensure a co-ordinated, effective, and timely response to children and families.
Be responsible for accepting, allocating and managing referrals.
Provide supervision and support to the Case Managers and Support Workers located in Port Hedland and Roebourne to ensure high quality service provision.
Be actively engaged in service level networking and service and community development initiatives.
Carry a small case load and provide support to others as required.
Co-ordinate weekly team meetings to discuss the progress and support needs of the families managed by the service.
Liaise with clients and other key stakeholders to assist in identifying gaps, barriers, or weaknesses in service delivery to, or reengagement from families and assist in devising strategies to address these.
