Permanent Full Time position available (9 day fortnight) Tertiary qualifications in Training, Education, Leadership, Management or related discipline. LGO8 ($113,644 - $128,384 per annum + superannuation) based on skills, qualifications and experience. About the Role As the Coordinator Learning and Development you will be responsible for both strategic and operational delivery of Council's learning and development function. This role is pivotal in applying good governance to Council's organisational development programs and initiatives to boost our workforce capability and capacity and ultimately ensuring that our workforce is highly skilled, competent and confident in the delivery of services to our community.
This role will be responsible for a small team of learning and development and program officers. You will facilitate Councils externally funded programs such as Apprenticeships, Trainees and Graduate programs. You will work with senior leadership teams to provide comprehensive advice, training and workforce planning needs. You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships across the education, tertiary and training sectors.
You will also lead the development and implementation of learning / training development systems and projects as determined by the General Manager People and Culture. This position will also be responsible for ensuring training needs are identified and managed to ensure all staff are working with the relevant legislative frameworks.
