But enough about us, let's talk about you We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Coordinator Development and Traffic Services to join our team.
This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing the assessment, approval, and quality assurance of development activities, ensuring all infrastructure assets meet statutory, planning, and engineering requirements.
The successful candidate will also coordinate engineering assessments for development proposals and provide expert traffic management solutions to support new and ongoing projects.
As a key member of our development team, you will lead traffic engineering investigations, manage infrastructure planning, and deliver solutions that improve safety and efficiency for our growing community.
To be successful in this role you will have: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or similar)Hold a current unrestricted C class national driver's licenceMinimum five (5) years of relevant experienceExperience in leading and managing a team of technical and engineering staffDeveloped knowledge and experience in civil design and project management of traffic management and municipal infrastructure projects including road, drainage, car parks, footpaths, and street lightingExperience in carrying out detailed engineering investigations, designs, and estimates for civil infrastructure and traffic management projectsExperience in interpreting and applying civil engineering design and construction specifications and standardsAbility to design and implement business systems, policies, and procedures to improve organisational asset management capacityWorking knowledge of Local Government budget preparation and implementation proceduresDeveloped understanding of the Local Government Act, Australian Standards, and other legislative requirementsHigh level leadership and coordination skillsHigh level of negotiation, communication, and consultation skillsHigh level organisational, decision-making, and project management abilityThe finer details This full-time Level 9 position attracts a salary range of $125,891 - $134,254 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
The position also includes a $10,000 car allowance.
