Introduction: About the Coordinator – Children Services Administration Team position

This is a full-time ongoing position based at CRCS head office in Bruce, ACT.

The position is perfect for an individual that is results driven, highly motivated and an innovative problem solver. You will have significant experience in Business Administration and the ideal candidate would have experience in the Education and Care sector working collaboratively with vulnerable families, government agencies, support networks and other stakeholders. In addition, you will have a solid working knowledge of all aspects of the Child Care Subsidy system and Qikkids is an added bonus!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Oversee and lead the day-to-day operations of the administration team.Provide high level customer service in a time efficient manner.Provide key support to Nominated Supervisors and Responsible Persons to ensure utilisation targets are met.Manage ACT Department of Education Contracts and Funding and Federal Government Funding.Execute changes to and manage the Child Care Subsidy and Additional Child Care Subsidy under Family Assistance Law requirements. Additional requirements for the role: Current working knowledge about Qikkids software, Child Care Management System (CCMS) or ability to quickly acquire these skills.A valid driver's license and access to a roadworthy, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle are essential for this role to fulfill work-related requirements.Knowledge of operational environment of Education and Care sector.Knowledge and understanding of debt management and previous experience in supervising employees.Ability to occasionally work outside of regular work hours to support the enrolment process as required.CRCS employees must hold a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration and have this with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS. CRCS employees are required to undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may affect their eligibility to work or performing the inherent requirements of their position.
