Job Description: We are looking for a special kind of person – a St Vincent's kind of person. Someone who puts compassion, connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do.

As a Cook you'll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent's Care Services Heathcote.

St Vincent's Care Services Heathcote (locally known as John Paul Village) is a 213-bed facility located 35km from Sydney's CBD. It is situated next to the Royal National Park, one of Sydney's real treasures!

Previous experience in a similar role assisting in the preparation and serving of meals. Aged care &/or hospital experience desirable.
Flexibility to produce special dietary requirements – knowledge of aged care related nutrition and special diets for health advantageous.
Assisting with food service duties including setting tables, cleaning dishes and cleaning
Genuine and professional customer service skills, team player and well presented
Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene standards
Maintaining a safe environment for residents and staff
Up to date Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations (3) and National Police Certificate (within the last 6 months)
