Candidates must be able to demonstrate: At least 2-3 year's experience at a similar level; Minimum 2 years' experience in a restaurant or catering role with recognized high standards; Workplace training from within a high standard environment; An understanding of the preparation, delivery and services associated with the highest standards of cuisine found in the dynamic hospitality environment; Experience in a fast paced bistro style location would be an advantage but not a requirement; Knowledge of the highest standards and quality production, preparation and presentation within a kitchen environment; Knowledge of the highest standards of hygiene practices as laid down by health and safety regulations Creativity and flair; An understanding of Hospitality Industry (General) Award compliance; and A strong appreciation of food, hygiene and workplace safety.
