A working day will involve: Organising kitchen staff in the preparation and serving of meals.Preparing resident's meals according to dietary plans and menus developed.Managing receipt of stores, and food storage according to the relevant regulations.Ensuring correct food handling techniques are always observed.About You You should ideally be an empathetic person who:
Enjoys working with the elderly.Can work independently and as part of a team.Is able to supervise, organise and guide staff, to deliver high quality catering outcomes.Has availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts over weekdays and weekends.Can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.You should possess the following:
