About the Home Bupa Kempsey is a modern care home located in the Mid North Coast region of NSW. It is situated in the historic Macleay Valley known for its cedar timber industry, the home of Slim Dusty and the iconic Akubra hat factory. It consists of 82 beds, with a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

Your passion for food along with your person-first approach will make a real difference to the life of our residents.
Duties Plan and prepare well-balanced and nutritious meals for our residentsLiaise with residents, families, and the care team to ensure residents' dietary, individual and cultural needs are metSupport the efficient functioning of kitchen and catering servicesComply with all infection control and food safety proceduresPerform administrative duties related to the kitchen operation such as stock taking and food quality assessmentSkills and Experience Previous experience in the preparation and delivery of meals within a similar environmentCertificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is preferred but not essentialExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to solve problems independentlyCulture We all share the same purpose at Bupa Aged Care: Helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world.
