Our client is a well-known and respected firm servicing the Newcastle and Hunter Region specialising in both residential and commercial property. Their dedication to their clients, unique approach to all aspects of their business, together with their vibrant, fresh and friendly culture has seen them achieve exceptional results and consistent growth.   Due to their ongoing success, we're searching for a highly motivated Conveyancer to join their dynamic team in the Hunter Valley. The ideal candidate is a team player, passionate about delivering a high-quality service and thrives on exceling in their career.   The role:   Manage enquiries and client relationships to ensure opportunities are converted and client needs are met Advise clients on the contractual requirements for the sale and purchase of real estate Conduct title and other government searches and enquiries for matters that may affect the property such as encumbrances or caveats Make necessary enquiries about zoning, titles and rates (council and water) Prepare contracts and transfer documents Prepare and advise on lease documentation Complete and lodge all relevant documents with the government agencies Liaising with mortgage lenders, real estate agents, conveyancers and solicitors regarding settlement Ensure that all special conditions in the contract are fulfilled before settlement takes place Liaise with financial institutions regarding funds required to proceed to settlement Prepare the settlement statement Attend settlement on clients behalf Check that contracts are signed and exchanged Ensure records of payments and contracts are filed appropriately in line with policy and legal requirements Management of team and provide support and guidance as required.   What we're looking for:   Tertiary qualified and hold a current Conveyancing licence Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role An eye for details and high level of accuracy Integrity and sound judgement Ability to research and problem solve Strong computer skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong willingness to provide high quality customer service and positive results for clients Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to work on your own initiative and make decisions Ability to work as part of a team Responsible for self-development and comply with relevant training requirements by the Law Society and in-house training when required.   Benefits: $75k-$80k + super (negotiable based on skills and experience) Opportunity to work autonomously and take ownership of your desk!
