This is a role where the projects are diverse and varied, with a focus on programming and commissioning of industrial control systems, extending from robot controllers, PLC and safety systems on the factory floor to HMI and SCADA systems and on into MES and ERP integration. You will be responsible for control system design, software development, factory testing and commissioning of robust, stable, expandable, and upgradable systems to meet our customers' needs.Key Responsibilities:

Gather project requirements and assist with preparation of proposalsSystem design, development, testing, training and commissioning for key strategic projectsIdentification of new technology and practices appropriate for use at CrossmullerPrimary Technology Platforms:

Siemens PLC/HMIRockwell PLC/HMIWonderware SCADAIgnition SCADAFanuc RobotsMicrosoft .Net and SQL ServerAbout You:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems, Mechatronics, Software or Electrical Engineering (or similar degrees) preferred. Other qualifications considered with suitable experience.Experience in PLC and SCADA a must with in-depth knowledge of Rockwell and/or Siemens Automation suite of software and hardware.Good understanding of complex Electrical Schematic and Control Diagrams.Good understanding of complex Fluid Power Systems (Hydraulics and Pneumatics).Robotics experience is a plus.Exposure to AS4024 safety system commissioning preferred.Project commissioning experience.Excellent communication and time management skills.Exposure to the Wonderware or Ignition suites of software will be an advantage.Must hold a current driver's licence.This is a full-time permanent position within our Systems Integration team. To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner.
