Control Systems Engineer

About us We develop and deploy automated control systems and telemetry solutions for drill rigs that optimise productivity and improve safety. Our solutions are used in Exploration, Production and Hydro drill rigs globally in the mining, quarrying and civil works sectors. We use a solutions platform that provides next-level telemetry, automation and control to complex and hazardous drilling operations. Our HQ is in Balcatta, Perth Western Australia with ample parking and easy access via nearby major roads.
Qualifications & experience Relevant Technical Qualification in Mechatronics, Electrical or Software Engineering.CAD software for back-drafting control system schematic as-builts.PLC software programming experience specifically with CODESYS and SCADA visualisation & control software.1 to 3 years post grad experience in design, programming and troubleshooting.Experience in the Mining and Resources sector preferably with geosciences.Experience in providing technical support for control systems liaising directly with clients remotely and in person.Experience in design, configuration and troubleshooting communication networks. Tasks & responsibilities Assist in product development aligned with our engineering processes for existing and new solutions.Program PLCs, HMIs, and other controllers for automation processes.Support our clients through product improvement, deployment, commissioning, troubleshooting and training from Perth and when required, travel to mine sites within Australia and Internationally.Develop, maintain and conduct ITP, FAT, SAT & UAT test/commissioning documented procedures for deployment of our solutions.
