The opportunityWe are currently looking for Control Systems Engineers that have onsite commissioning experience and are interested in travelling to international locations. You will get valuable project and onsite commissioning experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Site and Commissioning Support: Participate in site visits and commissioning activities to ensure control systems operate as intended in real-world environments including troubleshooting and resolving any issues while there.Control System Design: Design, develop, and implement control systems solutions for mining, mineral processing, and other projects, ensuring they meet engineering standards and client requirements.PLC and SCADA Programming: Utilise your PLC and SCADA programming experience to create efficient and reliable control systems.Documentation: Produce technical documentation including reports, specifications, procedures, and manuals to a high standard.Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication, project alignment, and successful outcomes.Technical: Understands the application of regulations, standards and codes of practice as they apply to project deliverables.Your Profile:A degree in Engineering, ideally with a focus on Control and Instrumentation or relevant majors.A willingness and readiness to travel internationally for a 4 weeks on/ 2 weeks off roster rotation during project commissioning.Proven experience and expertise in Siemens PLC and WinCC.Track record of thriving within project teams across the project lifecycle, showcasing your adaptability and agility.Previous onsite commissioning experience on mine sites.Passionate about sharing your specialized knowledge, elevating the expertise of fellow engineers.Experience with generating engineering documents such as functional descriptions, alarm registers, C&E matrix, commissioning plans and inspection test plans.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for seamless interaction with clients and team members.What Mipac can offer youWe pride ourselves on offering an exciting and challenging place to grow your career in an environment that allows for creativity, flexibility and support.
