About the role: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Control Room Operator to join our team, where you'll play a vital role in monitoring and managing critical assets, including wind farms, hydrocarbons transportation pipelines, and other energy infrastructure.
In this role, you will be required to work in our 24/7 Control Room in the Adelaide CBD, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of Epic Energy's assets.
This shift-based role is crucial to maintaining the safety of personnel, infrastructure, and the public while supporting seamless energy delivery across the network.
You will collaborate with teams across commercial, maintenance, and engineering functions while maintaining relationships with customers, external authorities, and service providers.
What we're looking for: Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Australian energy market, including regulatory frameworks, network architecture, and utilities contracts.Experience: Demonstrated experience with systems for monitoring and controlling process equipment, as well as in energy infrastructure operations or utilities.Qualifications: A current Australian Driver's Licence.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with technical knowledge of SCADA systems, pipeline mechanics, and rotating equipment.Personal Attributes: Strong ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and make sound decisions under pressure, especially in emergency situations.What we have to offer: While energy infrastructure is our business, it's our focus on people and relationships that sets us apart.
