A proven leader in onsite installations, backed by a strong engineering and technical organisation reflective of their experience within the industry.In this critical role, you will be responsible for pre-contract negotiation and review, variation provisions, drafting clauses and all steps up to signing including ensuring compliance and to minimise risks with the support of an in-house Legal team, responsibilities include:Overseeing contract management, claims, RFI's, contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and record-keepingCollaboration with the Estimating Team and Project Managers in ensuring contracts align with company needs, and that contractual and legal requirements are adequately understood and communicatedEnsuring budgetary requirements are met by actively contributing to cost analysis and initiatives aimed at achieving savingsAssist Project Managers with Contract compliance during the project deliveryReview subcontractor variations, process invoices, and issuing subcontracts, where requiredProvide assistance in handling project financials, developing methodologies, defining trade scopes, handling bank guarantees and insuranceProviding subject matter expertise in, and support to customer negotiations.Contribute to the development of strategies and solutions to deliver upon complex contractual opportunities and issuesDevelop and implement contract management processes and procedures to streamline operationsAnalyse contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate themCollaborate with In-House Counsel on more complex contract requirements.To be successful in this role you will need to have:At least 5 years' experience in leading contract negotiations and complex contracting activities, preferably in the construction industryDemonstrated ability to engage with diverse multidisciplinary and geographically diverse teams with a focus on service delivery and customer satisfactionDemonstrated ability to engage, influence and negotiate at all levels with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including customersIn-depth knowledge of contract law, regulations, and compliance requirementsExcellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and decision-making skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesAn effective team player, proactive in supporting required project outcomes.If you have a proven track record of success in contract management, we encourage you to apply and join our growing team in this rewarding role.Successful candidates will be required to undertake a full medical including drug and alcohol testing before commencement.Please apply online.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years of estimating experience do you have?How many years' experience do you have as a Contracts Specialist?How many years' experience do you have in the construction industry?Do you have experience preparing and submitting tenders?How many years' experience do you have with contracts administration?What's your expected annual base salary?
