Contracts and Optimisation Team Leader – Permanent- Full Time/Perth CBD Office Join Western Power as a Contracts and Optimisation Team Leader based in our Perth CBD Office, where you will lead a diverse team of professionals, including business support, contract advisors, process improvement specialists, and analysts, dedicated to facilitating network access for large commercial and industrial customers.

You'll contribute to supporting major grid connection projects from initial enquiries to the execution of Access Offers, driving initiatives in renewable energy and meeting the electrical capacity needs of sectors such as mining, manufacturing, data centres, and large-scale retail. Your leadership will play a vital role in supporting innovative projects and enhancing Western Power's annual tariff revenue.

Your Role in Action Continually assess overall performance against expectations, intervening as required to ensure achievement of all key customer and business outcomes. Monitor service effectiveness, service levels and customer and business satisfaction. Ensure that each team member is well supported to reach maximum efficiencies and development in the role. Identify and understand the diversity of roles and responsibilities in the team to enable well-guided coaching and affiliation with the work required from each team member. Set in place KPI's that provide inspirational targets for individual achievement. Set in place KPI's that are aligned to the areas business objectives and functional KPI's. All internal governance requirements are always met. Support and guide team members where required through issue escalations. What Makes You a Great Fit Tertiary qualifications in a commercial or business discipline. Project Management Diploma/certification. A broad and/or deep knowledge within a customer service environment or strategic business-related area. Demonstrated ability to support and implement fit-for-purpose or customer and user-centred service strategies. Strong leadership, influencing, communication and interpersonal skills. Team management. Strong understanding of customer engagement and service levels and ensuring quality customer service. Contractual framework understandings and contextual negotiation experience.
