We are partnering with our client, a leading organisation managing a critical logistics network, who are seeking a Contracts Officer available to join their team immediately for a 3 month period (potential to extend).
Working hours: Full time 38 Hours (Monday - Friday) Start Date: ASAP start Duration: 3 months (potential to extend) Pay Rate: $51.70ph + Super Location: Perth CBD The role: The Contracts Officer provides essential support to the Customer and Strategy team.
The role ensures the effective management of critical service contracts, leases, and commercial aspects while ensuring compliance with commercial obligations.
Assisting in the development and oversight of systems to ensure compliance with legal, statutory, and internal requirements.
Providing administrative support during the commercial bid process, including preparing sourcing and tender correspondence, assisting with site briefings, and supporting negotiations.
Monitoring contract insurances, securities, payments, and compliance during the contract execution phase.
Drafting commercial correspondence and assisting with contract reporting and audits.
Coordinating commercial records and liaising with other teams for a streamlined approach to procurement and contracting.
Promoting a safe, inclusive, and collaborative workplace environment.
About You: You are currently pursuing or possess a tertiary qualification in construction management, economics, business, commerce, or a related field (preferred).
You exhibit strong attention to detail and are capable of working independently to resolve issues.
You have well-developed verbal and written communication skills and can build productive relationships with stakeholders.
You demonstrate a commitment to workplace inclusivity and teamwork.
Skills and Experience: Understanding of commercial principles and practices or a willingness to learn.
Proficiency in administration and use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
