Details: The ACT Health Directorate spends more than $70 million per year on health services which are delivered by more than 75 community organisations. We have a dedicated team that creates and administers all the agreements with these community organisations in collaboration with other areas of the directorate.
We are looking for a Contracts Officer for one of our small teams. Our teams work in partnership with colleagues in the directorate and with our community organisations to ensure the funded services provide the greatest benefit to the health and wellbeing of Canberrans and people in nearby regions.
The work of our Contracts Officers is varied. They develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrate strong attention to the detail of documents to support grant processes and contract management, and undertake compliance and assessment activities. Contract Officers are central to our high achieving teams through their collaborative work, as well as writing good briefs and being a whiz at Excel.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. Note: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
