The role
As a Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of contract administration processes, as you lead and mentor a team of dedicated Contract Administrators, whilst delivering an iconic, and one of the most exciting projects to be delivered in 2025.
Being an integral role in the business as part of the broader commercial team, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Oversee contract management, claims, RFI's, contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and meticulous record-keeping
Foster collaboration with the Project Manager/Director and the wider project team
Ensure strict compliance and adherence to budgetary constraints
Actively contribute to cost analyses and initiatives aimed at achieving savings
Coordinate with the Project Manager to effectively manage sub-contractors and assess supplier performance
Review subcontractor variations, process invoices, and facilitate the issuance of subcontracts
Provide assistance in handling project financials, developing methodologies, defining trade scopes, and creating programs
The ideal candidate
We are seeking an Contracts Manager/ Senior Contracts Administrator who is ready to step into this leadership role be and work with other key leaders and mentor a team of Contracts Administrators. You will have a relevant degree in law, commerce, quantity surveying or construction management, in addition to experience currently working across the Tier 1, 2 or 3 commercial construction industry, with 8 years of experience. Excellent interpersonal skills will give you the ability to build and foster relationships with a range of internal stakeholders to achieve great results. You will understand the importance of a combined team effort in any project and will not hesitate to pitch in whenever you are needed.
