The Role: As the Facilities Management (FM) Contracts and Tendering Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of trades and services for our Facilities Management function.
This is a 12-month maternity leave contract based at our North Sydney head office, starting mid/late November 2024.
Your role will include ensuring cost-efficient, best-practice contracts and overseeing contractor compliance, ultimately contributing to the smooth operation of our multi-site property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the procurement and supplier management of trades and services contractors.Manage our best practice tender process from initiation through to implementation and ongoing contract management.Update the Contracts Register.Oversee the contractor compliance system, ensuring all necessary documents (ABN, insurance, safety systems, etc.)
are up to date.Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure contract compliance with relevant statutory authorities and Storage King standards.Conduct contractor performance and rate reviews.Maintain governance and probity standards in all tender and contract management processes.Foster strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers.Key Relationships: Internal: Group Property & Facilities Manager, FM team, Storage King Executive team, Operations, WHS, Compliance, Finance.
External: Contractors, service providers, consultants, regulatory authorities.
Working Hours: Full-time - Monday to Friday - 38 hours per week
