Contracts Administrator - Site Based - $30M New Build ProjectExcellent opportunity for a Contracts Administrator to join a strong, national commercial and industrial building contractor. In this position, initially you will work on a $30M retail/shopping center project located near Ipswich in Brisbane's Western Suburbs as a Site-based Contracts Administrator. It's an excellent opportunity for a Graduate CA with 1-3 years experience as a CA, Project Coordinator, or Site Engineer with reputable building and refurb contractors.
The business has over 100 employees nationally with a small, but growing team in QLD representing a great time to be joining the business. They possess an excellent reputation which has resulted in repeat business, significant growth in forecast, creating great opportunities for ambitious individuals. They have strong systems in place in keeping with a tier 2 management contractor and have an excellent safety procedures and track record.
Reporting to the senior contracts administrator, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Cost reporting and forecastingLetting of ContractsUse of Jobpac softwareScope of worksAssess progress claims and subcontract paymentsSub-Contract Contract VariationsPreparing and submitting variations to the clientSome Site Engineering activities such as managing RFI's, programming, safety audits, liaising with the client superintendent as the site-based contact, creating handover manual for the projectTo be suitable for this position, it is anticipated you will have the following:
Between 1-3 years experience as a Contracts Administrator working on high value commercial and industrial construction projectsExperience as a Site EngineerExperience with D&C industrial, retail, shopping centers, and bulky good retail projects are deemed highly desirableWill have worked for mid-tier, established, systems driven building contractorsA strong communicator, with good written and verbal skillsWill be enthusiastic with a passion for the industryOn Offer: Strong salary of between $90,000 - $120,000 + Super package (D.O.E)Work for a business who have won multiple awards for the quality of work, with a National presenceGrowing in Brisbane and plenty of internal opportunities availableA company that promotes strong relations with its subcontractors and suppliers which leads to a positive working environmentExcellent staff retention and huge pipeline of work in industrial, retail, and commercial construction projectsThis is a full-time opportunity and the company are looking to recruit as soon as possible!
