The Project The CPB Contractors, Ghella & UGL joint venture has been successful in securing the contract to deliver the $3.1bn M6 Stage 1 project. The project will deliver the missing link from Sydney's south to the wider Sydney motorway network making journeys easier, faster and safer. It will remove more than 2,000 trucks a day from surface roads and help return local streets to local communities.
With works commenced in early 2022, the M6 Stage 1 project scope includes the construction of twin four-kilometre tunnels and associated works, linking the M8 Motorway at Arncliffe to President Avenue at Kogarah.
The Opportunity We are currently looking for a short-term Contracts Administrator/Senior Contracts Administrator to join the M6 Stage 1 Project. Given the short-term nature of the role, you may be engaged on a max-term or casual employment contract.
Some of the role's key accountabilities include:
Processing accruals and ensuring costs are committed Analysis of cost to date and forecast cost to complete Updates forecasts and cost to date figures Evaluating and negotiating contractual claims with sub-contractors Processing sub-contractor payments in accordance with the Security of Payments Act, assessment of works completed, variations and back charges Managing the procurement of suppliers, trades and services About You Successful candidates will have the following: Relevant tertiary qualifications (engineering, commerce, accounting, business, law or associated discipline) and/or equivalent experience Extensive demonstrated experience in a similar role Written and verbal communication skills Analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
