Contracts Administrator

The Role: As a Contract Administrator, you will take ownership of the client's day to day commercial and contractual needs including tendering, procurement, preparing and negotiating variations, drafting contractual correspondence, and assisting in development of claims.
You will get the opportunity to work on both up stream and downstream activities through tendering, delivery, contract close and commercial settlement.
Responsibilities: ? Duties include but are not limited to: Preparing, collating and evaluating tender documentation.
Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules.
Progress claim assistance and external variations.
Review, negotiation, and finalisation of subcontracts.
Management and tracking of project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claim.
In conjunction with the Contracts Manager assist in the timely and accurate submission of Monthly Project Report.
Ensure all commercial administration activities on the Project are in accordance with Renascent policies and     procedures.
In all activities, working towards creating a climate of mutual trust.
Communicating regularly with project stakeholders (verbally and written) as required by the Project Manager.
Promoting a friendly and professional working relationship with project stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have: Tertiary qualification in related discipline, along with significant fit-out and refurbishment delivery experience.
2+ years' experience as a Contracts Administrator or similar role.
Proven ability to assess commercial and contractual risks, identify and implement appropriate controls and escalate where necessary.
Experience in the procurement and management of major subcontract packages for large scale projects.
Ability to work collaboratively and drive customer-focused outcomes.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Experience using Job Pac and Procore will be highly regarded.
