The Role
Reporting to the Contract Manager – the Contract Administrator's responsibilities will include:
Providing the Project Team with high-level tender and contract management advice. Assist with contract negotiations, ensuring timely review and approval and/or reconciliation of variations. Ensure all claims are initiated effectively and maintain compliance with all service contracts and Company commercial policies and procedures. Liaise with Project Managers and the Executive Commercial Manager to coordinate contractual insurance requirements and securities, implement risk management processes,  and review risk registers and controls from tender to contract execution. Unassisted development of commercial letters and or creation of templates ready for use for review and approval by Project Manager and the Executive Commercial Manager. Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience Qualifications in contracts or commercial/business law Minimum three years' experience in a commercial, pre contracts or contract management role. Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety. Strong attention to detail Excellent time management, organisational and presentation/finishing skills High level customer relationship management and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, schedule and plan. Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently using own initiative and within a cohesive team environment. Internet and PC proficiency with advanced MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Outlook Skills. Demonstrated level of analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
