The Role Genus Infrastructure is seeking a Contracts Administrator or contracts professional with equivalent skillsets to join the team at Belmont Head Office on a Full-time basis.
As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for providing commercial support prior to contract execution and contract administration support post contract execution across a variety of contracting environments and models.
Position Requirements Qualifications in contracts, business law, quantity surveying or equivalent.
Project management certification or qualification will be a bonus.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a contract administration role or equivalent, preferably delivering energy projects in a design and construct environment.
Sound understanding of project scheduling and cost management principles Demonstrated experience in claims management, contracts review and negotiations working with the AS4000 suite of contracts.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Excellent internal and external stakeholders (including clients) management and interpersonal skills across various levels of the organisation.
Excellent in framing arguments including the ability to distil and presentation of complex problems/ideas.
Demonstrated understanding of legislation pertaining to quality management, occupational safety and health, construction, and security of payment.
Experience with the use of procurement systems to maintain accurate supplier and subcontractor records.
Key responsibilities include Review contracts during tender stage and provide detailed assessment of contractual risks.
Establishes negotiation strategies and facilitates contractual negotiations.
Provide commercial and contracts advice to project teams to make informed decisions based on risk.
Support project teams with management of escalated claim including drafting of notices and leading negotiations Review subcontract and supplier agreements including negotiation and close out of contractual departures Establish and maintain accurate contract records and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
Work with key stakeholders on business optimisation initiatives in the commercial space to drive continuous improvement.
