About the Inland Rail ProgramThe Inland Rail Program is a 1600km rail infrastructure project stretching from Brisbane to Melbourne incorporating new and existing rail track.
The program includes the upgrading of existing standard gauge track, the enhancement of existing standard gauge track to cater for double stacking and the construction of new standard gauge links comprising of viaducts, tunnels, rail track, crossings and bridges.
About the opportunityAs the Contract Administration you will provide support to the Inland Rail projects team handling the daily management of contract documents, assist the Senior Contracts Administrator and the Project Delivery Team in addressing any contractual matters related to project delivery for tranche 2 Beveridge to Albury.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Efficiently and effectively undertake contract administration duties including the review and authorisation of payments for services covered by agreements.Identify, recommend and implement agreed processes and systems to monitor contracts to ensure they meet and respond to relevant contractual requirements.Identify commercial risks and develop risk mitigation actions.Ensure the receipt and veracity of contract securities.Maintain commercial registers including correspondence, variations, claims and contemporaneous records.Ensure contractual documentation is accurate, recorded, approved and distributed in a timely manner.Participate in projects and undertake other duties as requested such as recording minutes of meetings.About YouTo be successful in this role you will need meticulous attention to detail, be organised and communicate effectively.
