As part of a collaborative team, you will ensure projects are executed successfully, aligning with contractual obligations, relevant legislation, and Melrose policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include overseeing contractor interactions, coordinating procurement processes, and maintaining compliance throughout the project lifecycle to meet client objectives and uphold quality standards.Duties and ResponsibilitiesConstruct and manage the procurement register as required to meet project schedule.Work cohesively with the Project Manager & Site Manager to ensure procurement is completed as required to meet the project schedule.Undertake and manage the contractual engagement of contractors.Process monthly subcontractor claims.Manage head & subcontract variations.Deliver projects safely, efficiently, and effectively through meeting the project success criteria of stakeholder relationships, time, cost, quality, safety, and process compliance.Provide practical solutions to daily on-site challenges and obstacles.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.Requirements3+ years experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.Experience with multi-residential projects.Experience with commercial fit-out and refurbishment.University qualification or similar will be highly regarded.Experience using project software (ideally Jobpac, Hammertech, Procore, & MS Project) preferable but not essential.Ability to communicate in a professional manner.Preferred Design & Construct contractual experience.Previous experience with commercial construction companies preferable.Stability on your CV will be highly regarded.Driver's License.Employee Benefits6 weeks annual leave*16 weeks paid maternity leave*6 weeks paid paternity leave*Profit Share**As per company policyYour application will include the following questions:Are you legally entitled to work in Australia?Please detail your minimum salary expectations (including super):What is the notice period for your current employment?
