My client has established themselves as an industry leader as both a developer/builder and principal contractor over decades and have created a fantastic name for themselves in SEQ. They have a very experienced senior management team in the business. This company has built their reputation on delivering projects on time and under budget. They have a strong focus on staff retention and building teams that work collaboratively with the client and their subcontractors whilst still remaining focused on their desired company outcome. They have given the green light on a $65M luxury apartment project and need an experienced Contracts Administrator to join the project team.
To be successful in this role you will have 5+ years experience as a Contracts Administrator on medium/high-rise residential or commercial developments. You will have been exposed to mid-tier projects over $30m+. You will be an aspiring PM and candidates should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of longevity and tenure with previous companies.
Your Experience and Qualifications
Relevant Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Engineering tertiary qualification
Confidence in your abilities to communicate with Senior Management and subcontractors alike
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
The ability to write a detailed scope of works
Intimate knowledge of QLD Construction legislation
Experience with head contract and subcontract negotiation skills
Willingness to take the lead and manage a Junior CA
