Many of these construction projects are managed within a live operational environment and require careful and detailed planning.Our clients include various Federal and State Government departments, Universities, Councils, Not for Profits, Private Companies and Tier One contractors.The RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented contract administrator to join our team in Townsville. As a contract administrator, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of contract administration, including contract preparation, negotiation, execution, and monitoring. You will work closely with our project managers and legal team to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and deadlines.ResponsibilitiesManage the contract administration process, including preparation, negotiation, execution, and monitoringReview and analyse contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirementsCollaborate with project managers to ensure that contracts are executed in a timely and efficient mannerIdentify and resolve any issues or disputes related to contract complianceDevelop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholdersEnsure that all contract-related documents and records are accurate and up-to-dateDevelop and implement processes and procedures to improve contract administration efficiency and effectivenessEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedSkills and experience required:Bachelor's degree in Construction management, or a related fieldAt least 2-3 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in a construction or engineering industryExperience in Defence, Education, Health and Commercial ProjectsProven experience working on projects from $1m - $50mStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management softwareKnowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts and procurementBenefits and perks:Access to our EAP (Employee Assistance Program)Market competitive Salary, excellent working environment and chance to work on a range of National ProjectsExcellent Leave Polices that include purchased Annual Leave, Work Life Balance Days, Community Days and generous Parental Leave schemeCollaborative and values-based workplace cultureSporting and Social eventsProfessional MembershipsDiscounts on Travel, Retail and Health How to applyApplications should be made by submitting a CV and cover letter online outlining your interest, motivation and what you would bring to this role by way of background.Or contact Emily Smith (Recruitment Consultant) via Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are encouraged to apply.Recruiters, please note we are not engaging agency support for this role and do not accept unsolicited resumes.
