Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Contract/Temp Due to a period of exponential growth, our client is looking for additional contract management support across a variety of different projects.
Specialising in advanced technology solutions particularly within communications, avionics, electronic warfare, and space systems, our client is active throughout a variety of industries across multiple countries. Focusing locally, our client has developed a niche within specialised marine and defence technology, which has enabled them to capitalise on the recent investment within national defence projects.
Description The role will predominantly support from a post-award perspective across a variety of projects. Despite the post-award focus, the responsibilities may extend to the end-to-end process depending on business needs. The responsibilities of the role will therefore include but are not limited to the following:
Ensure adherence to contractual obligations through the effective management of project milestones, service levels, project budget, and relevant compliance.Autonomous management of amendments, renewals, and financial inquiries such as payment terms, invoice validation and potential audits.Effective management of relevant stakeholders inclusive of performance reviews/management and status/project meetings.Profile The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience or be able to attain the following:
Due to the exposure to defence projects, the successful individual must either have or be able to attain a baseline security clearance.Previous experience in a similar or equivalent position; a particular passion or exposure to the management of post-award processes would be viewed favourably.Previous exposure to project management particularly within a defence environment.Job Offer A rare six-month opportunity to gain exposure or further develop an existing skill set within the defence industry. The role will have oversight across a variety of different projects and will predominantly support from a post-award perspective. Located near the heart of Fremantle, the role would suit an individual who has a passion for defence or project management and is looking to develop upon an existing foundation within contract management.
