The Opportunity As a Contract Manager in the City of Perth, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing over 50 facilities maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance, performance, and continuous improvement in contractor services.
Reporting to the Head of Facilities Management within our Properties team, your responsibilities would primarily include:
Manage contract performance, ensuring regular reviews are conducted and areas of concern and opportunities for improvement identified;Preparation and co-ordination of annual maintenance budgeting including managing inputs from contractors and stakeholders;Ensure all contract management activities are developed and implemented in a manner which protects the City's budgets, interest and reputation;Actively lead and manage direct reports to develop an effective and engaged team to deliver on the City's property portfolio objectives.About You To succeed in this role, you will possess:
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in facilities management;Proven ability to draft, negotiate, and manage complex contracts and service agreements;Demonstrated experience in managing vendor relationships, including performance evaluation, issue resolution, and ensuring adherence to agreed-upon service levels;Demonstrated experience in developing, managing, and reporting on budgets related to facilities management and contract services.If your experience and capabilities match these criteria, we welcome your application.
