Government department tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia.
Currently seeking a highly experienced Contract Manager to join their busy team for a casual temporary assignment for 12 months with potential to extend.
About the Role As a Contract Manager, you will lead and manage the delivery of services from another federal government department to the Agency under the shared services agreement in line with the relevant governance framework.
In addition, your key duties are as follows:
Monitor and report on shared services performance and other agreement obligations.Manage and resolve issues, risks and escalations that relate to the provision of shared services.Support relevant governance committees and escalate risks and issues to committees.Participate and contribute to internal work programs that have an impact on shared services.Conduct reviews of agreements on a recurring basis, as stipulated in the shared services governance framework.Support joint initiatives and projects with a focus on continuous improvement in services and issues management.Prepare written correspondence, reporting and briefing materials.About You To be successful in this role, you must have:
Proven experience in a Contract Management or similar role.Excellent stakeholder management skills.High attention to detail.Previous experience managing a team.Knowledge of Commonwealth legislative requirements and guidance is highly desirable.Benefits ASAP Start Date pending clearance.12 months Casual Temporary Assignment with potential to extend.Full-time hours, Monday to Friday.$602.55 per day + Super.Multiple locations available:Geelong VICBrisbane QLDCanberra ACT*** Please note the successful candidate for the role must hold Australian Citizenship and be willing to complete a federal police check.
