Contract Coordinator (within Emergency Management)

Full time, Fixed Term Contract until June 2027

Attractive VPS 4 salary between $95,102 - $107,905 + superannuation Emergency Management includes the department's emergency management accountabilities delivered through Emergency Management Victoria, Emergency Recovery Victoria, Sector Performance and Reform and emergency management statutory entities and offices. What does the business unit do?

Emergency Management Technology and Data is responsible for national and state technology platforms that enable communications from the community, communications to the community, sector operational communications and sector information systems. This includes delivering the following key functions: Strategy & Enterprise Architecture Procurement & Program delivery Investment Planning Support & Development Vendor & Contract management

What will the role do?

The Technology Contract Coordination Officer's primary responsibility is to support the Manager, EM ICN Telecommunications Contracts in the establishment and maintenance of robust contract administration processes and procedures for key national, state and EMV Technology contracts. Some key duties include: Provide primary contract administrative advice, support and reports ready for presentation to periodic meetings and governance forums with stakeholders (e.g. User Reference Group, Contract Management Oversight Committee), where required. Provide contract administration support and advice in response to stakeholder enquiries (e.g. invoice, change request, quotation queries or Ministerial Briefs). Assist the Contract Manager with the performance of financial management activities in relation to EM Technology and Telecommunication contracts, where requested. Working in collaboration with the Emergency Alert Site Lease Officer and EM Budget personnel, be responsible for the administration of EAS site lease payments and other invoicing duties as required.

What skills and knowledge should the Contract Coordinator have?

As our ideal candidate, you will have: State government procurement and contract management experience. Strong knowledge of the Department of Justice and Community Safety's technology and operating systems is desirable.
