About YouTo be considered for this role you must have the following:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in in civil construction, depending on roleBSc in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similarRoad, Rail or major infrastructure experience preferredPrior Civil Contracting experience would be an advantageKnowledge of the Melbourne construction market and subcontractors beneficialStrong attention for detail and proven communication skillsStrong / proven experience in the understanding and administration of contract rights and obligations upon complex infrastructure projectsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelySkills &Responsibilities
The successful candidates will possess all the necessary qualities of a Contract Administrator /Quantity Surveyor while providing specialist services in cost estimation, cost forecasting, procurement, quality assurance, finance reporting and other specialist commercial functions:
Tendering, procurement and bid analysis;Compilation, assessment and agreement of submitted tenders, providing updates on any commercial / contractual clarificationsContract administrationCost ForecastingQuantification of costing of construction worksPreparation and assessment of progress claimsChange Management – Variation claims preparation & assessmentsPreparation of commercially astute correspondenceAbility to meet with liaise with clients and other professional consultantsEnsuring projects are delivered in accordance with the contractAnalysis of facts and evidence including records and noticesAbility to give clients an honest appraisal of their contractual and commercial positionAdvise clients on claims strategy, making recommendations on how our client's specific claim objectives can be achievedPreparation, negotiation and presentation of quantum, delay and disruption claimsApplication ProcessIf you possess the above qualities and would like to work for a company with a culture that rewards high performance, then please submit your resume via ******
