Job DescriptionDM Roads has been awarded the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract (VRMC) by the Department of Transport. We will deliver routine maintenance, planned maintenance, defect and hazard rectification and emergency response services to more than 8,500 lane kilometres of road in Victoria's Hume region, stretching from Mitchell Shire on the edge of metropolitan Melbourne to the north-east corner of the State.
We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team in Wangaratta.This is afull-time opportunityto join a highly successful business dealing with a long-term existing contract as well as project-based work. This role will primarily be accountable for the successful delivery of commercial and contract administration services within the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract.
What you'll bring Previous experience as a contract administrator with prior exposure to the civil or road sectors (highly advantageous)Strong understanding of contract terms and conditions, financial analysis, alongside a solid knowledge of commercial issues impacting business and the delivery of projectsAbility to process data and utilise JDE (or similar) to maximise efficiencies to meet client/business goalsAn aptitude to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external clients & stakeholdersDowner is a company that believes people are our greatest asset.
