About the Opportunity:
The Contract Administrator will collaborate closely with experienced Project Managers on large projects, while also being given the autonomy to manage smaller projects end-to-end, with support from senior staff. Strong skills in scheduling, sequencing, and coordinating work to maintain quality in line with project specifications and client expectations are essential.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee the financial and administrative contractual requirements of Minuzzo construction projects. Your role will be critical in ensuring projects run smoothly, managing contracts with precision and expertise.
Key Responsibility Areas: Provide accurate reports and support the Project Manager with financial reporting and analysis. Administer the Head Contract, manage claims and variations, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Track and oversee the Defect Liability Period, ensuring timely rectification of subcontractor non-conformances. Assist in managing projects by supporting project managers in scheduling, sequencing, and coordinating project activities. To be successful in this role you will have: Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role within the building & construction industry. Tertiary qualification in engineering or construction is viewed favorably. Strong construction background with comprehensive building knowledge. Prior experience in contract administration, finance administration or project administration roles. Demonstrated ability to identify financial issues and elevate them as necessary. Able to quickly grasp concepts and apply innovative solutions. Clear and definitive communication – written and verbal accompanied by good presentation ability. Understanding of contracts and legal issues related to contracts. Experience in procurement and letting of trade packages. Current Driver's License. Current Industry White Card. Proficient in using Procore, Breadcrumb1 and Microsoft Office Suite. A legal entitlement to work in Australia is essential. What can the Company offer? Competitive Salary. Flexible work hours.
