Sitzler is seeking a dynamic and skilled Contract Administrator to join our team. Based in Western Australia, you will play a crucial role within our Commercial department, working on exciting project assignments. As a Contract Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
Contract administration of the project, the head contract and subcontract packages, and all other project procurements Maximisation of value recovery, cost control and cash management on projects Responsible for all contract issues on projects including subcontract letting, variations, progress claims and contract correspondence Budget management and reporting of commercial status, risk, and issues to the Management Team Negotiation with clients, contractors, legal advisors and company management Informing the Project Manager and the Contracts Manager of any contractual matters that present risk or opportunity to the Company Maintaining the ability to access the project work site either permanently or at intervals required by the project as mandated by the Director's The successful candidate for this role will possess excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must have established relationships with WA subcontractor market and a track record in the procurement of general construction and civil projects of up to $200M.
Minimum level of knowledge/skills/training required to carry out the job: Recognised Diploma or Degree or minimum of 5 years in the construction industry with middle level experience on major projects Contract Administrator for 3 years Construction materials and methods Contract law Risk management and negotiation skills Sound knowledge of: Contract administration principles and procedures Managing time and resources effectively Your application will include the following questions:
