Salary: $160,000 - $220,000 + Super + Benefits Full Time Sydney NSW Construction newbuild and fit-out + refurbishment companies About Us: Hello from Buildability Group! We're partnered with some of Australia's largest commercial newbuild and fit-out/refurbishment companies and they're currently seeking Contract Administrators to join their team and manage contracts and finances across both sectors.
Key Responsibilities: Administer contracts for commercial newbuild and fit-out/refurbishment projects.
Manage project budgets, costs, variations, and progress payments.
Ensure project compliance with contractual obligations and timelines.
Coordinate procurement activities, including subcontractor contract awarding.
Resolve contractual disputes and claims as needed.
Provide mentorship and support to junior contract administrators.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a Contract Administrator in commercial construction, covering both newbuild and fit-out/refurbishment sectors.
Strong understanding of contract law and construction contracts.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Business, or related field.
Familiarity with commercial construction processes in both newbuild and fit-out/refurbishment.
Preferred certifications relevant to the construction industry.
Minimum of 3 years LOCAL EXPERIENCE.
