Contract Administrator Requirements for the Role Drafting and negotiating contracts that are legally binding between both partiesEstablishing contract terms and conditions including service levels, fees and financial obligationLiaising with external legal practitioners and other departments to ensure deadlines and requirements of the contract are metUndertaking contract analysis and providing advice to the businessDrafting and revising contracts, which may include preparing documents for tender, negotiation of legal agreements with customers or suppliers and undertaking research on topics relevant to the industryNegotiating contracts with other companies or individuals per legislationMonitoring and advising on compliance with contractual obligations, including revisions to existing contractsCommunicating changes in the business's legal obligations to individuals within an organisationDuties Demonstrate ability to draft contracts per the requirements of the businessHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailReview Construction Plans and manage trades accordinglyEffective communication skills, particularly when liaising with other departments or external organisations such as clients, suppliers and regulatorsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamStrong organisational skillsQualifications related to contract drafting and negotiationExperience: Previous experience in construction or Joinery related field is required.
License: Must possess a valid driver's license.
Skills: Ability to operate various tools and equipment used in construction projects.
Ability to follow instructions – work alone at times.
Punctuality: Must be reliable and able to consistently arrive on time.
Honesty and Reliability: Strong ethical standards and dependability are essential.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Communication: Basic verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
