Green Recruitment is proud to have partnered with a leading investment management firm working closely with their Major Projects team based locally here in Australia in the search for a Contracts Administrator. The client is an organisation at the forefront of Australia's energy transition with an impressive portfolio of utility-scale assets across a range of various renewable-centric technologies (Hydro, Wind, PV & BESS).
As the Contracts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of a major Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract. Representing the principal, you will oversee and manage all contractual aspects of a portfolio of renewable generation power plants, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and effective communication between all parties. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a solid understanding of EPC contracts and the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities:Oversee the administration of the EPC contract to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Manage contract lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring all deliverables and milestones are met.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contractual documents and correspondence.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters between the principal, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Address and resolve any contractual issues or disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
Identify and assess potential risks related to the contract and project delivery.
Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risks and ensure project success.
Monitor and report on contract performance, highlighting any areas of concern or improvement.
Review and approve invoices, claims, and variations related to the EPC contract.
Ensure all contractual activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Conduct audits and reviews to ensure adherence to contractual requirements and standards.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in contract administration, preferably within the renewable energy or construction sectors.
Strong understanding of contractual terms and conditions, risk management, and compliance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
