The value their people bring to projects is evident in their innovative thinking, ability to deliver creative solutions, and commitment to actively engaging all stakeholders throughout the process, resulting in mutually beneficial outcomes for everyone involved.COMPANY PROJECTS INFOCommercial construction can include, but is not limited to: refurbishment/fit-outs, new builds, health and aged care facilities.Civil and infrastructure projects include road and car park infrastructure, bridges and drainage stormwater systems, earthworks, and subdivisions.Excellent relationships with repeat quality subcontractors.CULTURE / VALUESIntegrity, innovation, relationships, and personal development.A desire to contribute to the success of the team and a passion for building.Genuine team players with well-developed communication skills, positive attitudes, and open collaboration.Respectful, hardworking individuals with great work ethic.ROLE DUTIESSenior Contracts Administrator within the Building/Commercial sector.Effective management and packaging of subcontractor and supplier contracts.Collaborating with local councils and governments including Redlands, Logan City, and Beaudesert.Create and maintain relationships and networks within the industry – advantageous to bring across your own Queensland network.Managing subcontract progress payment claims, variations, contractual claims, and final accounts in accordance with the terms of subcontracts.Overseeing contract securities, scopes, claims, and variations for the head contract and key subcontracts.Project reporting requirements, including preparing progress reports.Administrate projects within time and budget constraints.Evaluate and manage tenders to market.Lead procurement process and negotiate commercial terms with project stakeholders.Develop budget schedules, monitor, and report during the construction and maintenance periods.EXPERIENCE/SKILLSETMinimum 3+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator for a reputable commercial builder.Prior use and operations of Jobpac required.Background or relevant experience in procurement.Proven experience in a client-facing role, with a strong emphasis on relationship building.Excellent contract knowledge and management of head contract claims, variations, and extensions of time (EOT).Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management and/or Quantity Surveying.A proven ability to work within defined quality assurance procedures.A clear and concise understanding of Australian Standard building contracts and their administration.Demonstrated experience in contracts administration including preparing the subcontracts accounts, financial control, and reporting of the project.Prior exposure to development and training of Juniors & Cadets advantageous.PACKAGESalary based on experience.Work/life Culture – people first approach.Social gatherings and culture days.Secure pipeline of work for the future.A full-time, permanent position within a growing business.
