This critical position will continue to deliver excellence in all stages of contract handling from successful tender applications through the lifecycle of the contract.
Responsibilities include;Representing the interests of the organisation through personal relations and quality of serviceReviewing and finalising contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions meet project requirements, local legislation and pricing parametersNegotiating contract terms with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to protect the financial interests of the projectMonitoring project budgets and forecasting costs, ensuring projects stay within financial constraintsTracking all project expenses, variations and progress claims and handling cost variations to maintain budget alignmentCollaborating with executive teams as needed to address complex contract issues and resolve disputesOperating as the main point of contact for contractors, suppliers, and clients regarding contract terms, progress, and amendmentsFacilitating clear communication across project teams to ensure everyone understands their obligationsMaintaining accurate and organised records of all contracts, change orders, payment schedules, and correspondenceTracking project milestones, assess compliance with contract terms, and report on performance metricsProviding periodic updates on project progress, identifying potential delays and recommending solutions to stay on schedule.Reviewing and approving invoices submitted by contractors and suppliers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract termsCoordinating with the finance team to process payments and manage cash flow for the projectOther DetailsThe position is Full-Time, Monday – Friday and the remuneration guide is up to $120K + Super with access to a Fleet Vehicle for travel if required.About YouYou are confident in reading and understanding construction drawingsYou have a desire to progress your career in Contract Administration and support Project Managers with excellence in project deliveryYou are highly accurate, have excellent attention to detail and can demonstrate areas of your work where accuracy has been your strengthYou are a people-person and enjoy collaborating with a variety of co-workers from Executive through to Site ManagementYou have sound MS Office and industry software skillsWhat to do nowTo register your interest in this dynamic position, submit your current confidential CV via the application link.
