About the Job About the role Join the METRONET Railcar Procurement Project as a Contracts Administration Officer and play a crucial role in supporting the coordination, administration, and delivery of contract management functions.
In this role, you will assist in managing essential finance and procurement processes to ensure efficient and effective use of contracted resources, all in alignment with Public Transport Authority (PTA) policies and procedures.
You'll work closely with the project team to coordinate project scoping, development, and delivery, providing support for risk management and quality assurance across low to medium-risk projects.
As the Contracts Administration Officer, you'll be a key liaison with contractors and stakeholders, helping to evaluate tenders, prepare contracts, and ensure adherence to compliance and performance standards.
Your duties will include verifying contractor invoices, managing contract payments and claims, and providing valuable insights for process improvements.

About You!
To excel in this role, you should possess: Proven experience in complex project or contract administration, including high-risk contract management and understanding of project management principles.
Knowledge of government procurement policies, procedures, and finance administration would be highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and teamwork.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.

This is a fixed term opportunity for 36 months with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.
