About the team and role: The PAX Content Manager is responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day production of high-quality content for PAX Australia. This includes securing guests, scheduling panels, building content areas, working with key stakeholders, managing relationships, and delivering a strong event for the Australian gaming community.
Working closely with the Event Director, partners, and the RX Global team, this role involves strong project management, high-level communication skills, industry knowledge (industry contacts a plus), networking, and people skills.
Reporting into our Exhibition Director, this is a 12-month contract role based in our head office in Chatswood, Sydney, with the possibility of combined home/office-based arrangements to have a flexible work-life balance.
Responsibilities: Execute Content objectives and deliver in accordance with a strong internal communications plan.Research, develop, propose, organise, and manage the content to ensure delivery according to strategic objectives.Curate panel schedules and content aligned with event strategy.Research topics and trends in the gaming industry.Work closely with the operations team to fulfil Content requirements.Manage the timetable for Content delivery, proofing and managing onsite and online signage.Engage with the community to determine the validity of proposed topics, sub-themes, timing, and location.Act as a key point of contact for content-related customers and clients.Attend networking functions with industry stakeholders.Onsite execution of Content at events.Closely work with the Marketing team in delivering required information, messaging, and promotion around Content areas.Requirements: A minimum of 2 years' experience in content production, including the ability to generate new ideas and spot trends and opportunities.A network of peers in the Australian gaming space.Strong relationship-building skills and experience liaising with all levels of customers with the ability to naturally create rapport and build connections.Demonstrated research and analytical skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time.The ability to multi-task multiple projects in different development phases.Excellent organisational and time management skills while maintaining attention to detail.Demonstrated professional oral and written communication skills and copywriting ability.Please note you must be legally authorised to work in Australia to be considered for this role.
