As our Content Operations & Governance Manager, you will be at the heart of driving efficiency, quality, and innovation across our Content Experience team. In this key role, you'll ensure our content processes run smoothly and ethically, while maintaining the highest standards. You will lead content tooling, governance, resource planning, and champion the development of our content professionals, building a culture of excellence and collaboration. This is a permanent fulltime position and can be based in either Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. Bupa offers flexibility and Hybrid working so you can work from the office or from home.What will you make an Impact?In this exciting, newly created role, you'll be responsible for:Creating and enforcing governance policies and standards for content creation, review, and publishing to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate guidelines.Bringing Bupa's governance framework to life by safeguarding digital content across our channels, including a strong partnership with the Clinical Health team to manage healthcare content effectively.Leading content syndication partnerships, onboarding new collaborations, and managing third-party content licensing within budgetary guidelines.Overseeing the selection, implementation, and management of content design, publishing, and governance tools that empower the digital content team to thrive.Strategically allocating resources—budget, personnel, and tools—ensuring the content team operates efficiently and can meet evolving demands.Developing and implementing a forward-thinking resource planning framework to stay ahead of the team's needs.Designing impactful training programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and growth of our content community.What will you bring?The key skills and experience required to be successful in this role are:10+ years of experience in content operations, governance, or design operations, ideally within a highly regulated industry, with a proven ability to lead and optimize content practices.A demonstrated track record of successfully managing and mentoring content teams, including hiring, training, and fostering growth.Expertise in leading transformational content projects within large, complex organizations.A deep understanding of legal, regulatory, and accessibility standards, ensuring content meets all necessary requirements.Hands-on experience with content automation tools and workflows to drive efficiency and scalability.Adaptability in embracing new tools, processes, and industry trends quickly.A strategic mindset, with the ability to align content operations with broader business objectives.What's in it for youAs well as a competitive salary, a range of Bupa benefits and flexible working/work from home arrangements, you'll be encouraged to innovate.
