Job Description The Content Lead is accountable for the development, championship, and implementation of OUA's content vision and strategy. This strategy focuses on supporting customer and business needs for a growing online higher education marketplace. You'll bring to life and embed in our ways of thinking our experience pillars: relevant, seamless and trustworthy.
A highly collaborative role, the Content Lead has influence that stretches across the organisation. You'll guide teams across product, engineering, partnerships, and marketing on the role of strategic content in creating memorable and seamless customer experiences.
Moving between strategy and implementation, the Content Lead will provide leadership and support, whilst enabling the team to activate on their roadmap.
Here's a glimpse into your day to day: Content strategy: Develop and implement a future-facing content marketing strategy vision that aligns with the future of search, feeds lifecycle marketing, and positions OUA as an impartial authority in higher education. Advancing content design: Develop and execute comprehensive content design strategies that consider the entire customer lifecycle and align with our goals and user needs. Utilising data-driven insights: Drive audience engagement and continuous improvement through content that is informed and optimised by audience insights, data analytics tools and SEO best practices. Driving content quality: Ensure all content is clear, concise, accessible, and user-centred, adhering to plain language guidelines and tone of voice. Collaborating cross-functionally: Work closely with a cross-functional team to build well-crafted UX and content experiences. Ensuring content accountability: Prioritise SEO and intentional syndication of content across touch points to ensure visibility, ranking and ultimately the attraction of meaningful and engaged visitors. Aligning communications: Create a bridge between brand/marketing and content experience by facilitating the creation and implementation of aligned communications frameworks. Leading and mentoring: Lead a team of content creators and strategists, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and professional growth. If you're ready to make an impact, here's what we're looking for: Demonstrated understanding and expertise in content creation, strategy, and management. Demonstrated expertise in SEO best practices and content optimisation, with a track record of improving search rankings and driving organic traffic growth. Strong facilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills: experience integrating content design strategy with marketing, digital product and UX teams to ensure seamless user experiences and consistent brand messaging. Experience managing and leading teams, including resource allocation and balancing budgets. An ability to think creatively through complex problems and discover the best path. Strong ownership of problems and a consultative approach to business partnering. A natural collaborator who fosters positive relationships with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to influence business outcomes. An ability to adapt quickly and manage an environment of rapid change. An ability to be resilient, flexible and comfortable when working with ambiguity. What do we offer?
