Where and how you can work This role is based in Sydney with a hybrid working model to support the hands-on nature of the work. While there's flexibility in how you structure your time, being onsite will be essential for shoots, collaboration, and maintaining our high standards of video production.
What you'd be doing in this role This is a 10 month fixed-term maternity cover contract, with potential opportunities for transitioning to permanent for the right fit. As a Videographer and Content Creator, you will be instrumental in creating compelling video content that showcases the beauty, simplicity, and value of Canva's platform. Expect to collaborate with creatives, producers, and channel leads to craft stories that captivate and inspire.
Shoot & edit video assets and social video content across our CanvaLife channels, Talent Brand channels, and Internal Comms and PR.Take briefs and run with them, collaborating with your producer in planning and executing, ensuring key deliverables are met.Camera management and maintenance.Organize and string together footage for outside agencies, press/PR and production partners.Ensure digital assets are delivered on-time in line with expected creative quality.Work with editorial, social, marketing, and creative to ensure project goals are achieved.Upload videos and show packages to appropriate content management systems and media deployment systems.You're probably a match if You have 5+ years experience as a videographer and editor of marketing assets video and social video.You're comfortable with chaos. You can find solutions even without perfect precedents or direction, and map out a path to clarity and execution.You're eager to learn and evolve.
