We're a pioneering company committed to empowering remote and home-based roles through innovative support solutions.About the roleReporting to the Production Manager, the Content Creation Manager supports the Publishing Unit by managing all GGSA digital images and footage in the Digital Media Library.The Content Creation Manager is responsible for copyright and permissions, image provision for all publishing projects, keeping the database up-to-date, and logging and tagging all new images and video. Another core function of the role is to tag and date all existing acquisitions to ensure they are easily searchable in the database. The Content Creation Manager also curates content used for a variety of web, mobile and other platforms, and researches, coordinates, edits, and integrates the work of writers and designers to produce layouts that meet established branding and style guidelines.The Content Creation Manager is the primary liaison point for all parts of the business who require images, photos and illustrations for their jobs. The role must be able to interpret image requests, integrate the information provided and liaise with stakeholders to meet their requirements.The role has a strong focus on building the associated processes around the management of the database. The role is required to carry out the day-to-day sourcing (from the internal database or external image sources) of specific images requested of curriculum and training teams. The digital content is used daily for promotional purposes, for images in school curriculum and in teacher training modules. The main images are around schools, students and school teaching teams and in specific education programs.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish digital media library, including the collation, cataloguing, metadata attribution and storage of digital assets (image, video, or audio).Complete procedures and supporting documentation for the ongoing management of a digital media library.Facilitate the selection of content and acquisition of images and footage through research, selection and clearance of copyright for titles.Develop guidelines, procedures and training to ensure digital content created or curated is managed, described and formatted in ways that provide long-term meaningful access.Establish and coordinate effective communication within team and with other departments to maintain strong working relationships and partnerships.Plan, analyse and identify workflow and source issues that potentially jeopardise project schedules, before and during the development phase of projects and work with all appropriate internal and external stakeholders to resolve.Establish and maintain expert knowledge of the GGSA innovation model & guide the team on this model.Models a positive culture by living the organisational values.Previous work experience on digital collections, digitisation projects and/or digital preservation.Expertise and understanding of library, archival, or preservation repository systems, services and requirements, including metadata, standards, workflows, resource description, rights and permissions.Approaches work as a strong collaborator with great initiative as a project manager and good attention to detail.Supports the ongoing development of high-quality, client-focused digital curation services.Provides specialist technical advice on digital preservation to the community.Actively contributes to organisational culture and values.Skills and experienceProven experience in using Adobe Lightroom or other digital media catalogue and database programs to manage large data files.Proven interpersonal skills, including work as an effective member of a small team.Demonstrated ability to manage high volume, repetitive tasks to a consistently high standard.Relevant tertiary qualification.Software used: Adobe Lightroom (or similar).Key AttributesConsistent with GGSA's values and behaviours.Initiative and self-motivation.Results focused.Analytical and problem-solving ability.Communication (verbal and written) skills.Capacity to build and sustain respectful professional relationships.Personal leadership.Behave in a way that contributes to a workplace that endorses diversity and is intolerant of discrimination, harassment, and bullying behaviour.How to ApplySubmit your resume and a cover letter addressing the essential selection criteria.
