This top-tier civil construction firm, recognized for handling technically challenging projects, is actively recruiting Environmental Advisors to oversee environmental considerations in a major project. The role also involves contributing to the bidding process for substantial projects.
Main Duties
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assessing surrounding environments and reporting findings. Managing noise constraints, dust control, silt control for projects. Understanding and implementing risk management systems. Conducting environmental audits to assess compliance with environmental policies and regulations. Developing and implementing environmental sustainability strategies and action plans. Using data to track progress towards environmental goals and targets. Leading a team of Environmental Officers. Requirements The successful candidate will bring into the role:
Tertiary-qualified in a relevant field is ideal. Minimum 5+ years relevant experience in environmental engineering or similar, and ideally has worked on a project that involves power/transmission/energy/renewables. Be a strong team player within the Environmental Management Team. Have an in-depth knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and standards. Have excellent communication skills to effectively form relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal colleagues. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex environmental data. Experience with environmental auditing and compliance assessments. Proficiency in environmental management software and data analysis tools. Benefits Attractive salary package of $140-150k base + super + car (negotiable depending on the level of experience).
