Responsibilities include providing clinical leadership; acting in a liaison and advisory capacity to health care professionals and other service providers; working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team under a person-centred, trauma-informed and recovery focused model of treatment and care; supervision and training of junior doctors; and ongoing quality improvement activities.
The hospital you will be working in offers a broad range of services, excellent clinical experience, and an outstanding educational program. Mental health services are provided across Child & Adolescent, Youth, Adult, Older Adult, Community Alcohol & Drug Services, and the Hospital Liaison Team. The service provides multidisciplinary assessment, treatment, support and advice to a large population residing locally and across a number of Indigenous communities spread throughout the region.
