Position Profile: We are seeking experienced and passionate persons to join our Paediatric Rehabilitation department.
In this position, as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist medical Paediatric Rehabilitation services to patients. You will promote patient quality and safety and provide leadership, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training and other health workers in collaboration with other Consultants and the Clinical Director/Head of Department. Reporting to the Head of Department Paediatrics Rehabilitation, your key responsibilities will include:
Provide specialist medical Paediatric Rehabilitation services to patients within the Department and provide a consultation service on request for other patients.Liaise with other relevant Medical, Nursing and Allied Health staff to provide comprehensive management and service.Undertake clinical shifts in the Department at the direction of the Clinical Director/Head of Department including participation on the on-call/afterhours/weekend roster.Accept appropriate referrals from doctors external and internal to PCH.Ensure clinical safety in all practices.Take a leadership and mentoring role for doctors in training and others within the Department.About Perth Children's Hospital (PCH): is Western Australia's specialist paediatric hospital and trauma centre, with 298 beds.
